The great scene change
Society and art is in crisis – does it make a difference if the stage is empty?
Imagine a performance where no one ever comes on stage. No actors, dancers or singers ever make their entrance. In front of the stage the two performers Daniel Norback and Erik Pold has taken their positions. They control what is happening on stage, or at least they think they are, with small glimpses from the history of theater and the western cultural history.
Will they succeed in letting the Theater solve today’s major crises?
Humor and irony meet with serious cultural criticism and soul-searching existentialism.
Norback and Pold also created the awarded show “Teheran Mon Amour”, which the Danish Arts Foundation stated as “Very successful political theatre”.
